It's quite amazing that glass infused with metals becomes such a display of magnificent colors—blue, gold, red, purple, brown, and yellow. The way our sun plays with these elements in the form that we have combined them enchants me; stirs ideas in my mind of realms unknown. I am so enamored by this medium that I am compelled to bring it together to tell a story, mention an idea, or perhaps to invoke a feeling; to birth a response. This stuff of stars and planets; beauty so subtle, inferred, so acute. I am an ally with those who cast such exquisite sheets of it; to gladden, to charm, tickle or gratify; to surprise, to invoke; to thrill and to enchant we who would be so moved."
